Summers at Kind In The Making

Summer Camp

Do you have a child who absolutely loves animals? Who can’t walk down the street without having to say “hi” to every dog, or that begs for a pony for Christmas…every Christmas? Do you have a child who would love to spend their days playing with puppies, bottle feeding kittens, and walking mini ponies? Then our summer camp is made for them!

  • Available for Students 5 (or going into Kindergarten) through 11 years of age (or 5th grade.)

Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation Summer Camp

Beginning in June 2023, we will host summer camps for students in Kindergarten – fifth grade, where children will have the opportunity to participate in real animal rescue and rehabilitation!

This is an amazing opportunity for students who cannot participate in our incredible after-school program, but who adore animals and would love to foster that connection during the summer months.

Details

  • Drop off is any time between 7:30am-10am
  • Pick up is any time between 3pm-5:30pm
  • We provide breakfast until 9am
  • We ask students to bring lunch from home
  • We provide an afternoon snack at 3pm
  • Camps are weekly commitments. We do not offer partial weeks, and tuition remains the same regardless of how many days your child attends

Items to Bring to Camp

  • Lunch
  • Water bottle labeled with their name in permanent marker
  • Clean swimsuit/swim shorts *If they would like to play in sprinklers/slip-n-slides, etc.
  • Towel *if applicable
  • 1 change of clothing
  • Sunscreen
  • Sunhat/Baseball hat
  • Long pants to wear while working with our animals
  • Sneakers in order to work with our animals

That’s it!

*Please do not send your child to camp with toys etc., or anything other than the above.

*We are not responsible for lost or stolen items brought from home.

Tuition & Billing Policy:

  • Tuition is $200 per week. (Roughly $5/hr if attending for 8hrs.)
  • Deposits are due after registration has been confirmed, and total 50% of your child’s total summer camp enrollment.

Cancel before May 1st​ – 100% refund of deposit.
Cancel May 1st or after​ – forfeit deposit/tuition paid.

June 1st ​- Remaining tuition due for June.
July 1st​ – Remaining tuition due for July.

Phew. All of that fancy, boring, fine print to finally be able to say – YOUR KIDS WILL HAVE A BLAST!
